Is AMD a Spyware Company Now?

I was having some trouble with my video driver so I downloaded the all-in-one driver installer from the AMD website. A little while after running it, while it was downloading my specific drivers, up pops AMD Gaming Evolved. I never asked for it. I never OK’d it before installing. It put an icon and a folder  on the Start menu but the folder had no uninstall in it. At first it didn’t look like it was listed in the control panel because apparently it uses a different name there (Raptr). The program itself wanted to know if I wanted it to track each time I played any of the games I have installed. Well, not really, but thanks for offering… ??
